The Computational Archaeology Laboratory (CAL) at McGill University is supervised by Dr Andre Costopoulos. Our research interests include evolution of social complexity, agent-based simulations in anthropology, quantitative and computational archaeology using geographic information systems (GIS) and computer modelling.

The lab offers networked workstations with specialised software for spatial and computational analyses. Bruce Trigger Memorial collections at the lab include British Archaeological Reports (BAR), the Mercury Series, Anthropologica, and L'Homme (Revue française d'anthropolgie).
